History

Smith & Sons Painting is a family owned and operated business established in 1990 by Tim Smith in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley of Alaska. With nearly ten years of experience in the painting industry, Tim started Smith & Sons Painting in May of 1990 after having his third son. Joseph, Casey and Cole entered the business as soon as they were old enough to pick up a brush and go to work. The business experienced great success with the three boys working in the business every summer through their youth.

Now, the second generation has joined the business; Casey became a partner in 2015 and Cole became a partner in 2022. With a great deal of experience and knowledge of the painting industry, the future for Smith & Sons Painting is looking bright.
